The Yoga capital of the world, Rishikesh is the confluence of traditions and modernity. Situated on the foothills of the majestic Himalayas, the town is a delightful amalgam of spiritual and adrenaline-pumping experiences. The participants will explore the great city, interact with the locals and try to muster in all the beautiful experiences they have. A one-day visit to Pahadi Gaon will also be arranged where the participants will scout and explore the nearby villages. Along with volunteering work to make a difference in society, a range of exhilarating activities like, white water rafting, trekking will also be planned. The team will also partake in a 5-day basic yoga workshop for the necessary mindfulness and calm needed. Rishikesh has a plethora of social services to offer and every one is welcome to help and make a difference.

The small town of Rishikesh has, over years, emerged as a great tourist destination. It can be accessed by rail, road, or by air easily. There are various flights connecting the nearby airport from major cities and a great network of roads and railways makes it hassle-free to access from nearby cities and towns.
The nearest airport from Rishikesh is Jolly Grant Airport, Dehradun, just about 35 kilometers from the town. It is a domestic airport with flights from major Indian cities including Delhi, Chandigarh, Mumbai, Kolkata, etc.
A well-connected network of railways facilitates travel in the northern states of India, Rishikesh has its own railway station. You can board trains from New Delhi to reach Rishikesh, taking about 6 hours of time. During festival seasons, special trains make traveling to the town easier.
Well-built NH 334 can be accessed to reach Rishikesh from New Delhi. You can also reach there via NH 7 from Chandigarh.
Volvo buses, sleepers, seaters as well as non-A/C buses from New Delhi, can be boarded to reach Rishikesh.

Can I cancel the experience once booked?
An experience can be canceled as per the cancellation policy and some cancellation fees may apply.
What if a lockdown is imposed in a place where the experience is to take place?
In case of a lockdown or a pandemic like situation, you'll be given credits as per your booking information to redeem for up to 1 year on any services of The Tarzan Way.

How will I get the confirmation of my bookings?
You'll receive a mail of successful payment and confirmation of booking. An experience captain will contact you within 12 hours of successful booking and give you all the relevant details.

Can I change/cancel an individual booking item from my experience?
An individual item can be changed according to the situation and the item itself. Please get in touch with your experience captain and they'll help you with the same.
How can I book transportation to reach my destination?
Once you book an experience, an experience captain will be assigned to you to help you book your transportation from your departure city.
Will I be alone or will I be with a group?
If you're traveling solo or with friends and want to travel with a group of people, you can select the dates in the experience where a group is traveling and book the experience accordingly. You can choose to book it for a solo trip too.
Will my meals be covered in this travel experience?
Please refer to what's included and the itinerary of the experience to understand the meal plan. Generally, breakfasts are included in most travel experiences.
What will be the sharing basis of a room in the travel experience?
The travel experience will have occupancy on a double/triple sharing basis for a private room or homestay and a single bed in a hostel. Please refer to the "booking" tab where you can choose and read more about accommodations.
Will the meals in the experience be veg or non-veg?
The experience will have veg meals as standard but it might be upgraded depending on availability but a small additional cost may apply.
Will there be a guide with us throughout the experience?
You'll have our local suppliers for all the bookings who'll help you go about the experience. We want the traveler to explore most of the places on their own but if you do require a local guide please contact your travel experience captain upon booking and we'll get you a personal guide for your experience.
